As Vice President, Nicole aims to help create a welcoming community, especially within the cabinet. She ensures that everyone in the cabinet actively participates in contributing to the mission and vision of PERMIAS Massachusetts. This includes setting deadlines, overseeing committees, and being hands-on in the process of creating something amazing!
Additionally, Nicole assists the President in making decisions and taking accountability for pursuing the next steps that require leadership. She aims to do her best and provide full support for the wellness of everyone in the cabinet and to ensure the quality of events PERMIAS will provide.
Why did you choose to join Permias?: “I chose PERMIAS because I wanted to make new friends, but mostly because I just wanted to have people who enjoyed eating sambal with me!“
What is the best part about being a part of Permias: “A lot of people will answer that it’s the “people”, but it’s true! The best part about being in Permias is that I meet people from different schools and each person has their own story to tell. Another favorite event of mine is the Beantown event where we get to welcome new Indonesian people in Boston to participate in games like tug of war and sack race!“
