The sports has been developing extremely fast in the country and with the mens national team medaling in the World Championships, IIHF CCOA, and IIHF AOC. In addition the federation has created a powerhouse development team including:
• Evgeny Nurislamov, Head Coach | Former KHL (Fonbet Kontinental Hockey League) Defender

Moreover, it opens doors for aspiring Indonesian hockey players to connect with educational and professional opportunities in the U.S.
PERMIAS Massachusetts has a longstanding tradition of promoting Indonesian culture in the U.S., and this partnership with FHEI aligns with its mission to enhance Indonesia’s global presence through meaningful collaborations. As the first initiative of its kind, the MOU will bring together students, athletes, and sports enthusiasts from both countries in a series of exciting events over the coming months.
The leadership teams from both PERMIAS Massachusetts and FHEI are confident that this partnership will not only boost Indonesia’s visibility in international sports. Through hockey, this collaboration symbolizes the growing relationship between Indonesia and the global community, starting right in the heart of Boston.
